Rattle Sound

Help please...i have this rattle sound when foot on brake and either turning left or right...brought it in to dealer and 500$ later they replaced ball joint...guess what ...rattle is still there even when i just put key in ignition i hear the rattle coming i think from steering column, i 'm too afraid to go back to dealers to see what next, they will say it is, at the same time they looked at my A/C because it wasnt blowing very cold, that cost 100$ to tell me its a slow leak but they cant find it.....anyone out there with same rattle noise

Re: Rattle Sound

Mine had to have the steering column joints repacked with grease. I think it was around $50 to have the dealer do this. I think all they did was cut the plastic cover over the steering column and shove some grease in there and tape it up. It has been quiet ever since. Does it click only when you turn the steering wheel? If it does only when you turn it, it may need grease then.
