Tried to install a new Stereo.. Now my WRX wont start.

Hi Guys. Major issue with my WRX. My new sound system install was going like a dream until I cut the factory connector off. I think something has tripped out. Everytime I open the door the alarm goes off, I cannot use my remote to lock or unlock, or disengage the alarm. The car is useless now, wont even start. Ive got a Impreza 06 WRX... anyone had this issue? Can anyone advise me on what to do?

Where did you cut? Do you have enough of the harness left to re-pin the connector? Does the alarm run a wire through there that you may have cut, too?

Got it working. Blowen Cloak Room 20A fuse was causing all my problems... Replaced and its all good. Thanks anyway
