Re: door ajustments

What you probably need is a new set of door pins.

Re: door ajustments

I'm not exactly sure what your saying about adjusting but you might need to replace the door pins. When you open up your door try to pull up on it, if you can move it than you need new door pin(s) or hinge, but probably just the pin bottom pin. Another sign is if you see scrape marks where the bottom of the door is touching the car.

Edit- wright beat me to it

Re: door ajustments

only adjustments that can be done is with the latch and striker. door sage is pretty common on 3rd gens cause the doors are so heavy and replacing the pins and bushings is the only whay to correct the problem. the other posibility is a worn out hinge

Re: door ajustments

mine is scraping at the bottom also. so i bought pins and bushing kit and took it to my auto body buddy, and he said the pins are not that bad at all, he sad if i feel under the door, it is the trim peace starting to rub and to sand that down a little. because when i lift on my door, it does not come up much.

Re: door ajustments

Any flaw in a pin on a door that weighs as much as these do is problem.
