99 Conv-Blower Motor Resistor Keeps Blowing Out
Hoping someone can help - I have a 99 Sebring Convertible - have replaced the blower motor resistor 3 times now @ $30 a piece. It works for a few days and then blows out again.
Any suggestions? |

Be sure to get the right replacement part. #5174124AA. Mine cost $36.57 from a dealer, no one else has the upgraded one. If yop didnot have to enlarge the opening to accept the new resister, you have the wrong one. If no settings work its probably a fan motor problem. If only the high setting works its possibly the resister. |

If a blower motor is pulling to many amps it will kill the resistors. Run a amp draw test on blower motor. MT
