Entertainment Electrical Noise

I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey with 53K miles. Recently I've been experiencing electrical noise in the background coming from the DVD/Entertainment system. It starts out ok but then after 30mins to an hour the noise starts in the background-not very loud-you can't hear it until you almost stop. It doesn't matter what mode it's in, DVD/AUX/CD/Tuner, etc. The noise is reduced when the engine is shut off but doesn't completely go away-so I'm ruling out the old fashioned alternator whine. If I turn off the system completely and turn it back on the noise is gone for a while then comes back. Also, while the noise is there the wireless headphones are rendered completely useless as the noise is all that can be heard from the headphones. Anyone experience this or know what it might be? I'm guessing some kind of noise filter somewhere but is this built into the unit or is it a separate filter located somewhere else? Any help would be appreciated....Thanks in advance.
