Anybody got any other ideas...?

Sounds like you need.

You will need to register to post but they are AC experts from all there.
Is the drain pipe and fliper threw the fire wall open good?
Run something trew it and see if it is open or hit it with some compressed air.
I have saw bugs and everything else stop the drain pipe or fliper up.
Also remove fliper and see if that helps.
If so the drain pan should be draining.
If you can pour a little water in it and see if it drains out under car.
Are you sure it is pure water leaking in floorboard.
If you can just stick drain pan back up with a screw or two run it some and then peak back in drain pan.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Also about them death kits here is a couple of links on them.

I don't know how well the pipe is cleared. I stuck the allen wrench in, and angled it around. Felt nothing. The GM guy said to be careful, for the fins of the condensor. Now that I've got a peek at the condensor from inside, I don't see how that was possible - it looks further inside the firewall than that. But I don't want to find out he was right.

It's pure water - not antifreeze, or W/W fluid.

I don't have compressed air. I got a length of marine fuel line to the drain hole, but couldn't get a good seal at the drain opening. Some air I was able to blow through - about as much as the shop vac pulled. I didn't hear any gurgling, or anything.

Not sure what you mean by fliper... A door in the duct?

I'm wondering if the drain pipe is disconnected from the condensor housing, but that hardly likely, since the shop vac at first would pull nothing.

Has no one in this forum gotten into a Chevy Venture condensor housing???

Re: Water in floor pans?

totally diferent car here, but a buddy of mine had the same problem with his Dodge Intrepid. Wet floors after AC was running.

Drain tubes were fine. ended up that while driving the drain tubes were doing their job, however the water would fly back and run slong a seem in the floor pans, resulting in the water woking its way into the car, and soaking the floors.

they sealed the seems underneath, and added and "extension" tube to the drain tube, and the problem went away.

have you ever just let the car run, watch for drips, then back track to the source?

I am glad to see you got some good info at ackits on it.
Them people know there stuff.
And I think Bleepster hit it on the head to.
And it may boil down to that flipper you asked about.
There usually is a rubber flipper valve on the end of drain pipe.
Could be your problem.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

Re: Water in floor pans?

THERE IS JOY!

And there is no water!!!

The elbow has made all the difference. I could find no OEM part; a GM backordered part (my company distributes GM parts to GM dealers overnight shipping in half my state).

I found in a generic retailer a 'HELP' part - a PCV filter elbow for a Chrysler, pt.# 47028, and snugged it on, with no extension.

No water all the night.

You got good info bleepster, good referral MT!
