Do you still have the AC in there? I would yank that shit out! That's like 30lbs IIRC. Just a thought. Looks very very nice though. Can't wait for some numbers.

The car never came with AC when I picked it up. It was already removed, kinda nice, I didnt have to deal with it.
I was planning on making the car pretty much drag only, then I started thinking about driving it on the street. The car was going to get a sheet metal dash but I figured it would look shitty. So I decided to make my own gauge cluster and put it where the stock one is. Then since I planned on driving it on the street, I still wanted a speedo. So I looked into ordering aftermarket gauges but decided against it because I've never seen the gauge cluster moved before either. So I put it where the air back was. Everything is still funtional, it lights up, blinker signal, tach and speedo, the whole thing works flawless. Now its just easier to scare the passenger if I decide to do a pull on the highway or a back road. When they see the speedo wind to 140-145ish well less than 1/2 a mile, its classic to watch them get nervous.
