fuel on my spark plugs
i was wondering what the posibilities could be with my problem. first of all the car runs like crap right now. it sounds like it running off three cylinders or like a go-kart. anyway i pulled the plugs out after the swap and there was oil all over the top of the plugs. so i pulled them out and turned it over a few times. i also replaced the gromets and all the seals for the valve cover. after that was taken care of i went on to another problem. ther was gas all over the bottom of my spark plugs. not all but threee of them. i was wonder ing what it could be. the car doesent smoke or anything. and it does have a full 2 1/2 exhaust on that little 1.5 liter. what do you guys think

Re: fuel on my spark plugs
Not nessassarly, it could also be other things. I would check the timing, if it was off a tooth or so it could cause that, or if your getting very week spark. Did you replace the wires after they got oil on them?
