Rear view mirror

I have a 93 Grand Marquis and the rearview mirror has fallen off. I for the life of me can not figure out how to remove the metal wedge from the mirror. The are no set screws of any kind. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

George

Re: Rear view mirror

The mirror has a small opening, you need to use a small screwdriver and place it in to the opening to force the metal clip up that holds the mirror to the metal wedge.

Unhappy Re: Rear view mirror

Got it...thanks. The opening on the bottom, the one off center, is the one needed to be depressed before I could slide the wedge out.
