trans fluid loss

1995 jimy 4x4 auto fluid level went down saw no leaks added fluid went down a little again then seemed to stabilize did a fluid change on trans and transfer case when draining transfer case too much fluid came out refilled trans and transfer to proper levels drove a couple hundred miles and same thing trans fluid level down and trans fer case level up anybody run into this before there are two seals on transfer case shaft input or is it a bushing or bearing letting shaft have too much side to side movement

Re: trans fluid loss

You need to replace seal between tansmission and transfer case, on front of transfer case.
You will also need to check your vacuum lines that connect to top of transfer case. If there is tranny fluid there you need to drain it out. It can also migrate to the Vacuum actuator under the battery, The trans fluid will eat the diagphram and then you need a new actuator.
