how many coats of clear ?

i was wondering how many coats of clear do you apply before you decal, and then how many after for the best results, thancks Daniel

This realy can not be answere exacly, I would say as much as needed. If your colour is gloss and it is one tone only and if you are happy with resoult, then none of the gloss coats before decals.
If you have few colours on the body and separation is rough then you have to clear and sand the separation, then some more clear to even all and then decals.
After decals you should usualy put as much as you need to get nice and gloss finish.
Sometimes I need two mist and one heavy coat but sometimes I apply up to 10 coats and it is still not good, depending on clear, spray or AB, mix ratio if it is 2K clear etc.
