COMPLETED: Customer's 1993 Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe

The first completed build of the business--woohoo! Turned out pretty good I think... the only area I'm not really happy with is the fitment of the hood, I might mess with it a bit more before I ship. As seen in the WIP thread, the hood was made by cutting the center out of a AMT '71 Mach 1 hood and splicing it into the T-bird hood. Decals are all custom made by me (including the sunroof, which he didn't tell me existed until I was 90% done the model!!) Pinstripe was done freehand with a sharpy. Comments and suggestions welcome.

I've included a pic of the completed interior from the WIP thread, since I am NO good at getting pics of it while in the car. I'm quite proud of it in particular.

Now to finish that Smallblock S-10!

This turned out pretty well. Nice idea with the sunroof, too. The hood is slick and looks like a kit part. I bet he will be really happy. Normally I find white coloured models rather plain but it really suits this thunderbird very nicely. What's next?

Ya, unfortunately, if you look at the hood in the right light at the righ angle, you can still sorta see pink... what's odd is that it's only pink in the areas I applied Tamiya filler putty--WTF? But honestly, this was the third strip and repaint, and it looks good from most angles.

I have the Smallblock S-10 in progress still... halfway through a Buick Grand National for another customer... and a Galaxie and Falcon about to start for another one!
