When i turn the car misses for a second, then accelerates fine. It's like you push the gas and it doesn't go for the first second, so it's very noticable. It seems to happen when i'm making a left turn. but it might be when i'm going right too. but i would like to know if this is a serious problem,or could be. i would say it does it 70% of the time.

Re: 98 z24 acceleration problem

does it ever do it when your not turning?? i cant think of anything that would cause a power loss ONLY when turning, unless something was really messed up with your power steering pump, but for starters, you could check your air and fuel filter, then after your fuel filter get a bottle of fuel system cleaner, not fuel injector cleaner, the fuel system cleaner costs about 3 times as much but its worth every penny, maybe try new plugs and wires too, how many miles does the car have on it???
