Joining up

I've always wanted a Cavalier as my own before I could even drive. That was 5 years ago and now I'm starting off in life. I just flew in from WA state a week ago back home to Florida to start college. One of my objectives was to buy a car for myself as I'm on my own. I struck a awesome deal, or atleast I think I did. For $8000 I picked up a 2004 Orange Cavalier 2dr 5spd. I rolled off the lot with 30069 miles on it so it still has the original warranty left. It's been serviced every 3k miles so it drives like new. Just needs a good wash/detail as it was under a tree at the Chevy dealership. Sorry for the picture sizes as I only have a camera phone. I have nothing to my name. As soon as my warranty dries up, I plan on modding the car tastefully. I can live with the front end for awhile, but the plastic in the back has to go. You'll be seeing alot of me in the next few months. Glad to be here!

Re: Joining up

I would have worked them down a little bit. It looks like a base model 2 door. Back in 2002 I bought my 1999 sedan with 27,862 miles on it for $5,999 sticker. I opted for the extended warrenty which brought everything up 7K ish.

If you could have gotten them down to 7,000 I would have called that fair. You just have to know how to work them sales men. Untill you have signed the dotted line, there is no harm in asking to go lower.

There very cheap to buy, but that doesent mean their cheap cars. If u pay 5g less for ur platform, u get 5g more for UPGRADES
