Final pics for the year, till next spring... Hopefully.

College is starting back up soon, and I will no longer have the time to be driving this around till next spring and its currently giving me problems and i just feel like torching the sonfa bitch right now with a road flare because its pissing me off... Randomly misfiring while in high RPMS and throwing the ETS OFF light on while doing so. Even after i replaced wires, plugs, coil pacs, catalytic converter, header and rear O2 sensor...*wtf If anyone has some insight on that it would be appreciated, anyways....

Onto the pics..

If i don't burn the car to the ground over the winter, next pictures will be of her all painted and show worthy.[

Hmm well she looks pretty sexy to me right now. Not the show kind, but the potential kind. Very nice work, if only I had the money...

If you do torch it, can I sift through the remains for parts?

Re: Final pics for the year, till next spring... Hopefully.

Is that the Dam in Beautiful Downtown Baldwinsville.
Haven't been ther since the early 80's, but it looks familiar.
(water-skied all the way from Cross lake down to the boat launch once).

As for the car, did you take the EGR off and check the pintle movement?
How about the MAP sensor, the suction tube might be plugged. It also wouldn't hurt to take the IAC off and clean it of any carbon build up (same as the EGR).

Good luck in school.

Yep thats downtown b'ville. Alot has changed since you left. The flowermill has been replaced by a hotel, and there is now an Ampi-theatre on the island. Its very modern now and there are concerts on the island friday and sat nights.

As for the misfiring problem, i think its my damn waste of money Nology hotwires causing the problems.

I found a huge write up on them on JBO on why they suck and mess things up.. they little capasitor idea is actually retarding timing and throwing timing off which when i think about it is perfectly logic. I'll throw it up if anyone is interested.
