Re: Need engine swap advice.
i wouldnt trade an s14 for less then and including a 2 door gtst. they really arent that much more worth it unless 4wd and rb25/6. btw jdmsux...you didnt prove to us that you owned that car, and his s14 is obviously faster then your van so....

Re: Need engine swap advice.
well, this is a car that i plan on bringing back to the states when i return. i have about 2 years to work on it. the original plan for it was to bring it as close to stock as possible with the body, but have modifications to bring it to the standards that i want. what i am planning is better suspension, a better motor and tranny, better brakes, and probably some 17-18 inch rims. as for the "painted tail lights", they are not painted, it is a metal plate i fabricated to fit over the tail lights for a different look. right now the car has maybe 220-240hp. i am looking to get at least 500-550 reliable horsepower. any suggestions?

Re: Need engine swap advice.
besides, bringing a skyline back to the states, rather than the silvia, would cost me more than triple what i am gonna be spending to build and ship this car to the states.

Re: Need engine swap advice.
id say go sr.. if youre going to be in japan for two years and dont want to wait. if youre willing to.. id say wait until you get back to the states and build a ka-t... thats just my
. but once again it all depends on what you want to do with the car...
