please help - the clutch problem

do anyone know how to adjust a clutch pedal or clutch itself?
i have a problem, when i want to put a speed when the motor is
cool. it is impossible to put a first speed.
i think i will need only to setup the clutch but dont know
how. i have ford fiesta 1996.
