gas pedal

theres a plastic part that connects the hinge for the gas pedal to the firewall and the dealarship wants to charge me $210 for the entire pedal and mount. all it is is a broken piece of plastic and i belive i could repair it with epoxy but i want to know what all of you think before i make a move. thanks (my car is a 95 SL2)

I would suggest fixing it right, but its totaly up to you. If you fix it right you wont have to worry about anymore, if u glue it, it will always be on ur mind if its going break again and leave you stranded some where

thats true, but i mean its still attatched to the wire so i can still get it to works but i cant press it down far enough to get up to the speed limit fast enough

check junkyard for a direct replacement or a part store may have a universal replacement
