How do I turn off the airbag light?
My car has the airbag light on the dashboard always on, theres a cut on the steering wheels so i think it might have gone off, so how do I turn it off? Oh its a 1993 trans am v8

yo i think that is the only way to get it to go off is put a new air bag in with the modual and it will go off, the light is on because it is telling you there is no air bag in there.

i have the same problem...It says INFL REST (Inflatable Restrant) on the dashbaord but i dont know how yto shut it off. I took out my air bag when i put in a new steering wheel without a bag

ya it says that because you have no air bag, the only way you can make it go off is to have a air bag so the modual tells the ecm or ecu that there is a air bag in there.

electrical tape on the dash. or remove the light from behind the dash if you dont want tape..
