Shrader Valve

I'm plannin on changing the fuel filter tomorrow morning on my 96 3.8 bird, but dont know where the shrader valve is to release the pressure on the fuel system. I thought i knew about where it was, but apparently not lol. Any know exactly where it is? -Thanks-

Re: Shrader Valve

you just take the gas cap off, and unplug your fuel pump fuse.

I knew to take off the gas, but not the fuel pump fuse. Is that just in my fuse box under the hood?

there will be some fuel to spill out regardless of what you do. So your best bet is to make sure the pump has not cycled on in several hours and then just take off the cap and go to work. The shrader valve in on your fuel rail right next to your intake manifold though.
