98 Grand Am Fuel or Fire??

Have a 98 Grand Am v-6, when cold it runs great after warmup runs like @#*&%@#. Acts like it's running out of fuel. One mechanic says it needs fuel pump but I'm thinking CPS, any input would be appreciated.

Welcome to AF!

Did you have the fuel pressure checked while the car is cold and again when hot? If the pressure remains constant then the problem is elsewhere. If the pressure drops then the fuel pump is going bad due to overheating and will need to be replaced.
