It feels good to be back...

On Sunday morning I clipped into my bindings for the first time in almost a year. I did one green warm up run and immediately found my old rythym (parallel, legs hip width apart, perfect pole plants, perfect edge control). Within 10 mins or so I was ripping it apart on some groomed blue runs. After I was properly warmed up, I went to my 11:30am 2 hour lesson, the first lesson I've had in about 10 years. I got to practise my short radius turns behind a gorgeous Swiss instructor for two hours. She would tell us to ski down one at a time because "I want to see you" (in a gorgeous Swiss accent).

I thought to myself everytime she said it, I WANT TO SEE YOU TOO!! lol

Anyway, by the end of the day I was nailing everything the hill had to offer - double black diamonds, 3' kickers, natural rocks and bumps, beginners, soft snow......the lot.

And GODDAMN it feels good to be back......
