Instrument lights don't work
I installed an aftermarket CD play in my 99 Dodge Stratus, now none of the instrument lights are working. The aftermarket stereo did not have the plugs still on them so I had to rewire them. I did find the wire from the factory wiring harness that has power when the lights are turned on but I have no clue where to hook it up. PLEASE HELP I'M IN THE DARK ON THIS ONE

Re: Instrument lights don't work
Let's try the stupid question first. Did you check the fuse for the dash lights?
Did you cut into the cars wiring harness when you installed the deck? Did you pinch or knock any wires or plugs loose when installing the deck? Did you use a wiring diagram to determine what wires are for the radio? |

Thanks for your advice but I found the problem. The antenna wire is also the ground and I didn't know that so my problem was caused due to a ground loop. Thanks anyway. |
