Ring and pinion swap question.

I'm going to put 3.42's in my rear end that had 3.08's, which is a different carrier. I have the gear spacer http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm.../%20Driveshaft part number MOT75S "Motive Ring Gear Spacer - required when going from 2.73." Now I need an install kit for it. I found one on yearone.com part number MG75IK that says it includes "Motive Gear ring and pinion installation kit includes pinion nut, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pinion shims, carrier shims, ring gear bolts, thread locker, marking compound, brush, and gasket." My question is, would that work and would I need something specific since I have the gear spacer too? Thanks!
