92 Stealth-3.0L DOHC-EGR VALVE?

92 Stealth R/T with the 3.0L Non Turbo DOHC engine. Does this engine have a EGR valve? Thanks!

Are you sure? The EGRs have been around for quite a long time to regulate combustion temperatures...

I haven't seen a engine without a EGR since the introduction of fuel injection...

I dont beleive that the non vr4s have egr... i could check for sure tomorrow... but if you look at 3sx they only sell egr block off plates for turbo models

The intake on my SOHC is EGRless. My car originally had a EGR (because its a 94 Cali-spec) but I deleted it and took a non Cali-spec (car was actually a 95) SOHC plenum from a parts motor. It wasnt until 96 that all 3s's NA and TT had an EGR.

Now I can't tell if I feel younger or older now given that EGR evidently weren't as common I thought that long ago, so time isn't passing me that quickly... And yet it still 12+ years ago... :-S

I have a 91 DOHC N/A Stealth R/T, and it has an EGR--not a Cali-Spec car I checked it is Fed-spec. Maybe a few cars had it, and some didn't. Not sure but I thought I would throw this out there.

I did find out though, that if the EGR system breaks you are screwed unless you can make stuff yourself or want to settle for a junkyard piece that will do the same thing later. The EGR pipe flex section broke and I had to make a new pipe, and you have to get another valve from a junkyard as far I can tell, I can't find one.
