Re: 94 grand am stereo help!!
First disconnect the battery(if your removing the radio)
Remove the bezel and any other trim pieces to gain access to the retaining screws around the radio. Should pop off with a panel tool or a straightslot screwdriver, thiers just clips holding it on. Unscrew the screws holding in the radio, pull the radio out, detach the connectors, ground cable and antenna, then remove the radio. Hope that helps, And Welcome to AF !

Re: 94 grand am stereo help!!
Ok I'm going to get a little more detailed. Remove the cup holder. Remove the plastic panel under the dash on the driver's side. Remove the dash vents in the center of the dash. Remove the glove box. Remove the trim around the radio. There are 2 nuts above the radio, remove them, the radio should slide out. Good luck, when I took mine out it involved alot of bad lanugage until I found all the screws. Some are torx, some are phillips.
