anyone been in accident with there intrigue

ive been in an accident with my car well everything was fine but im just asking everyone if theyve been in one wanted to know how car did in accident

from the front, just fine. everything is actually not as bad as it looks. from behind, not good at all. a friend of mine had a 2001 a couple of years ago. a cadillac hit her at 30, her intrigue totalled.

like almost any newer car, cosmetically i dont think it would hold up very well, resulting in a lot of damage to a lot of expensive parts, therefore totalling it.

As far as actually being kept safe and surviving an accident? The W-body cars are a pretty solid bunch, and Ive heard several stories about higher speed accidents at like interstate speeds in W-cars and most all of them eitehr had no injuries at all or were very minor....congratulations..you have a pretty darn safe car as far as im concerned...id take a hit in it

My wife and I were in one about 2 years ago in our 2000 Intrigue. We hit a kid right in the side as he pulled across the 3 lanes of traffic (thinking there were only 2). People in the other 2 lanes gave him enough room to turn but our lane was clear. I was doing about 40mph and hit him right in the side. Nothing I could do. He was in an older Pontiac Bonneville. I have some great photos for anyone interested. I think there was over $3000 in damages to my car. I believe his was totaled. We were fine, and believe it or not the front of our car did not look bad at all, but his almost folded in half. Another strange thing was that our air bags did not come out. There is a lot of foam inside of the front bumper. I think that displaced some much of the energy that nothing got smashed in far enough to set the air bags sensors off.
