1996 tracker wheel bearing

Hello. I have a 1996 geo tracker 4x4. I want to replace the left front wheel bearing. I have the wheel stripped down to the axle. I am having trouble removing the bearing. Does the bearing need to be pressed out and do i need to have a special rachet to tighten the locknut back on? My locknut is a round disk with a bunch of holes. It was easy to take off with a punch and a hammer but it needs to be be put back on with a tourque wrench.

You'll need a hydraulic press for the wheel bearing. If you have a Carquest by you with a machine shop its less than 20 bucks to knock the old one out and press the new one in. Also you'll need an axel socket (34mm its either 32mm or 34mm. I believe (youll need to double check that) also sold at carquest. Napa might have something too but I have a carquest next door so no need to drive to napa.
