1993 Ford Escord lx
I have a 1993 ford escord lx with a 1.9 litre engine and an standard trasmition. Would like to know if it's possible to change my engine for a 1991 model 1.9 l powerplant but with an automatic transmition. Thanks for your help!

Yes you can use the 91 engine in your 93. Just make sure to install a piolite bearing because motor's used with a auto does not have one installed.

If it is JUST the engine being swapped, it is not a big deal, but you will have to also add/remove the appropriate accessories attached to it.
