Re: Will a seat from another vehicle fit Metro?

If you get the rails with the seats, all you have to do is drill holes in the rails to match the Metro holes. If not, then you can either drill holes in the rails to match the Honda seats, or drill holes in the seats...holes in the rails would definitely be better.

But like I said, I just heard about it being done. The guy said it was pretty easy.

All you can really do is get some and do whatever you have to do to git 'er done...

Re: Will a seat from another vehicle fit Metro?

ok, well then

I need seats, rails and drill correct? then it will go right in the floorboard? right? I can unbolt the rails that are there?
Ok and the last problem is that I will need an entirely new seatbelt right?

This is all correct right? What about putting the seatbelt clip on the metro seat onto another seat? what is necessary to do that if possible?

And why hodna civic? what about like um oh pulling this out of my ass, like isuzu impulse lotus edition ( one I saw in junkyard with leather seats)

Ive seen honda civics with leather seats, assumedly from a acura.

Re: Will a seat from another vehicle fit Metro?

ok, I am pursuing some red leather seats and rails from a mercury capri.

Any reason I cant drill holes in my cars floor, and then put them in?

Please speak up, youve confused me a lot. any reason I cant tear out the metro seats, cover them with gasoline and burn them, then get a priest to bless the new seats, drill holes and put them in?

Re: Will a seat from another vehicle fit Metro?

ok im finally seeing the problem

the rails wont match the holes in the geo

so drilling new holes, unless u do a lot of bolts its gonna break off

the new rails are supposed to be drilled.

I think that using the metro rails ok and literally using some kind of bailing ire to the new rails, Im thinking this is actually the most durable solution

this is entirely my own ghetto idea. do any of you think its a terrible idea?

Im thinking of using BOTH seat rails ok and connecting them ith metal or drilling holes in metal bars

tell me if this will not work

Relax, it'll work! And if for some strange reason it doen't work, you will have learned a ton of stuff about car seats that you can share with the rest of us!

I'd wait on the priest until the seats are actually in the car...
