I Want To Change My Water Pump On My 95 Olds Cutless Supreme 3.1 But How Do I Open The Water Pump Pulley 4 Bolts It Keep Spining How Do I Hold It Down Any Ideas

I was able to 'break' the bolts by useing an air ratchet and leaveing the belt on. Quick bursts on the ratchet did it.
ONLY LOOSEN BOLTS SLIGHTLY! Otherwise your hands are toast! Then remove the belt and water pump. Also remove the colant bottle for easier access and space. If you can get the whole thing off in one shoot, then just use and impact gun to zing those 4 little suckers off. |
