What is this?

Just got me me a '93 tracker.


got it home and was looking at the engine and discovered this guy all out in the open not connected to anything.
Anyone know what/where it goes to?

you have a pic of where it comes from ? firewall? engine block?

It looked like it ran along side the tranny... looking at the front of the car it ran on the.... I tried to get a picture but the camera wouldnt get a good one... i can try again later if the sun decides to come out.
