Spec-C in a 05' RS!!

My friend and i are going to be dropping a Spec-c STI engine into his 2005 2.5 RS and we're wondering if anyone has attemped to do this swap before.
Is there anything we should be aware of?

I hear you have to change the crossmember to the STI crossmember, i also hear you need the STI's shorter driveshaft.
As far as wiring goes, you need to run about 6 wires from the engine to the ECU??

Anymore info that anyone has would be greatly appretiated, along with any sites that would give me info.

Thanks.

You're talking about dropping a turbo engine into a N/A vehicle, you need a whole new harness and ECU.
Crossmember will be needed. New exhaust system. Drive shaft.

Are you using the TMIC with the engine or going FMIC? Either way you'll either need to replace the hood OR modify the front bumper structure to accept the piping.

There are many more things you will find as you go - what you're planning isn't quite like replacing a 1.6 Honda engine with a 2.0 Honda engine.
