you must live in hollywood or something. if you have crap in your car it dont matter if you have it bolted down, ghetto kidlets will get it out, and if they cant they will destroy your car in the process of trying. there is no way you can bolt down every single valuable in your vehicle it not feasable. people are willing to steal anything and everything.

alarms are a worthy investment even if your running stock everything, as long as the car is worth more than a bigmac and fries. not only is it a deterrant, but its a friggin nice warning for when some nugget is rummaging through your shit looking for any bottle of tic tacs you left in your car while your watching the facts of life.

Re: Question?

its easy to wire an alarm so that crawling under the car and cutting wires does nothing but look like they accomplished something, unless you have sphagetti arms and can weave all the way up and cut all the wires at the battery terminal without touching anything so not to set the alarm off. proximity and laser sensors are pretty cheap to install now too they can help elimiate issues as such.

if there are 2 cars on the road, 1 with alarm and 1 not... the crook will choose the unalarmed car 8.5/10 times and the other 1.5 times they were to dumb to check for it.

Re: Question?

I would never even consider using one of them anyway, those things went out of style years ago like Mc hammer pants.
