Absolutely noobish

Hi I'm a noob...

I will be installing the system for my very first time- I have everything ready and I should be ok with everything BUT I still need help with that turn-on lead cable...
I took out the radio today and checked the cables - There's about 15 different cables comin out of it , so which one do I use for the turn-on ? (I read that it should be a blue wire - and I have a blue wire with a white stripe on it, and a plain blue wire) so which one is it ???

Then I also noticed 6 plugs on the back of my HU (3 whites 3 reds) That;'s the place for the RCA cables...
but do I plug it in "Rear/Sub";"AudioFront" or "AudioIn" ???
(I would go with the rear/sub" but I just wanna make sure I'm right...

Sorry about this but I don't wanna mess anything up...

I'll be glad if any1 answers...

THX

Re: Absolutely noobish

you need to open the manual ... it will tell you this stuff for sure

the amp turn-on lead is usually blue, it connects to the turn-on wire or connector on the amp.

As for the RCA's, depends on what you are trying to do. Use the fronts if it's an amp running full range speakers. Use the rear outputs set to "sub output" on the deck if you are using the amp only to run a sub (or two).

Re: Absolutely noobish

i think in general most turn on leads are blue with a white stripe. there should be a sticker on the radio that has a diagram saying which wire is which.
