Angry 2.2 vtec engine

I just purchase a 1994 honda accord with a 2.2 l vtec engine manual transmission.
After I drove it less than 5 min and less than a mile, a piston blew trough the engine block and therefore ruin the whole engine.
could you explain to me why this happened ??
could it be that the engine was defective already when I boought it.

If it blew that quick, clearly the engine was bad before you bought it. But there could be quite a few reasons why it happened.

I would be very interested to find out what are the reason that can make an engine blow that quickly!

Re: 2.2 vtec engine

Simple neglect. Was the car in any way modified? IF yes, then it was probably too much for the pistons etc.

Otherwise, it quite likely neglecting to service the car properly and not having it properly lubricated.

Re: 2.2 vtec engine

If you blew a piston straight through the block in 5 mins then there were some SERIOUS issues with the car when you bought it. Did you test drive? I'm not sure how lemon laws vary from state to state, but I'm sure 5 mins after purchase qualifies. Report it and get your money back.

edit: unless you bought it from an independent seller, in which case, you'll have a tough time getting your money. Buying from private sellers gives the transaction an "as is" status. Basically its on you to ensure its a good buy before handing over your money. But I'm hoping you got this from some sort of dealer.
