well you pretty much just took everything i was about to say in your first post. and you got to the FAQ before i did! i was just about to start one when i came on now, and i see you've already got it going. good on ya! smart minds think alike.

Skyline engines - will they fit in my 240SX??

yes. RB20DET, RB25DET, and RB26DETT will all fit into your 240SX, each with a different amount of modification. The RB26DETT requires the most work, because the twin turbos will not clear the steering column without modification. the other 2 require smaller levels of modification (different engine and tranny mounts) in order to fit in your car.

oh, and for most questions you could ask, GOOGLE is your friend.

It's going to be AWD, the engine is AWD. In the quarter you're looking at a 10.9 - 11.2 on the stock swap with a 1.2 60ft. because AWD rips out of the hole. 0-60 should be around the 2.9 range.

Re: RB series motor for my 240sx

if you swap the rb26 in the 240 you use the rb25 rwd tranny. unless you want to spend countless hours and tons of money fabricating something that will most likely not work correctly. but faqs are good to read. this has been posted time and time again, since no one decides to read the faqs before posting or care to search even this forum.

its going to be RWD, seeing as the tranny used is from a RB25 (i think that was mentioned above). and high tens to low elevens on a stock RB swap? the RB motors put down some good numbers but im pretty sure they dont do anything under 13 stock, and even that is a pretty far reach. use the search button, this question is asked probably at least once every 2 weeks.

nissan_240sx..back me up on this^^
