Helloooooo all,
My Peugeot 405 diesel estate has just developed a noise which seems to be coming from the back nearside wheel area. It is like a thump thump thump noise when you pull away or slow down to low speeds but the osund dissapears when you speed up. It is much more noticeable when there is weight in the car either a couple of people in the back or a load of stuff in the boot etc. I dont think it is the wheel bearing as the noise goes away when you speed up and I dont know what else it could really be.
