JUst lowered my integra, looks weird...

I took my car to the shop to get springs, shocks, and struts installed. I bought some vogtlan lowering spring which gives me a 1.6" drop and kyb agx shocks and struts. Before the installation, the previous owner had coilovers on the front only and lowered the front. So the car was lifted at the back and lowered in front. After the installation, it still looks pretty much the same. Was the setup installed incorrectly???? or is that how it usually is???? Or should i just adjust the adapters in the front???? Oh and whats the best setting to put the shocks and struts at (1-4)???

Struts are a type of shock. Struts are structural while shocks are not. People tend to refer to them as shocks or struts, it depends how specefic you want to be. Most of us know what you mean.

The new springs will settle a little adding a bit more drop. Usually not more than .5" depending on spring quality. I would have to see the car in order to say if thats how it should look. With my car I find having the rears on 2 and the fronts on 1 for daily driving works best. On a front wheel drive car you want the rear a bit stiffer. Just don't keep them on 4 for long periods of time.

Is the car drastically tipped forward? Of all the lowered integras I've seen (reasonably lowered that is) the front sits noticeably lower than the rear.

yep, its drastically tipped forward. I mean, it has a huge gap in th rear, and a really small one in front. Now when i drive and hit a bump or something the tires hit the inside of the fender. The guys who did sucked. I got robbed. They put an adapter on springs!!! Talk about mickey mouse!!!

Re: JUst lowered my integra, looks weird...

hey you guys. well i fixed the problem long time ago. Now its leveled and looks way nicer. The problem was that the rear springs were installed in the front and the front in the rear. I fixed the problem byy just changing the springgs. But now it rides really weird. Everytime i hit a tiny bump or am driving on a semi rough surface the shocks/springs vibrate a lot. ON smooth surface it drives great but as soon as it becomes un leveled, not even rough or bumpy, the suspension vibrates a lot. I have to keep it on 4 all the time or else the whole car frame starts to shake. Anyone knows what the problem is? or should i switch the shocks to the oem again?
