Re: Me Being Me...

I don't have a super-rare name, although it is rather uncommon, especially spelled how it is... the long story short version is that another person with the SAME EXACT first and last name (middle names are different) emailed me about a year and a half ago. They were just doing a Google search and my name came up before theirs. I thought it was really cool. We still stay in touch. In fact, my grandmother is really into geneaology so we shared our family trees with one another.

So, if you think it would be super-cool to send a post card to them, you never know if one of the other Nicoles would also think it's super-cool.

And on another note, we share a birthday, Nicole! Leo's rule.

Re: Me Being Me...

never had much luck on google with my name, but searching for yourself on facebook or myspace yields alot of results. At least for me, Its kinda weird.

edit: woah nevermind apparently alot has changed since the last time I googled my name. There is a ton of doctors with my name. I even found some stuff about my uncle who has the same name as me. Apparently my uncle and some other doctors sued John Ashcroft (attorney general) to have some abortion laws changed or something??? weird.

Re: Me Being Me...

I kinda find the thread title ironic. NE ways.. if somebody sent me a post card telling me we had the same name, I'd be pissed. I'd respond to tell them to leave me alone.

It would be like wearing the same shirt to a party, and having the other person come talk to you about how you're both wearing the same shirt. I'd rather just stay at opposite ends of the party because anybody who has the same shirt as me must be insanely cool. That's a given. So if someone just as cool as me starts hanging out with me, the cool would only cancel itsself out because there is no room for any more coolness around me. It's kind of like the Matrix.
