Hi,

I started when I was 10 or 11. Now I'm 27. My first model was a Revell Volkswagen Golf II Zender....

Yep, Zender Corrado, I made this, too but as maybe 10th model.
I started with 7 on airplanes, then helicopters, cars I´m building since I´m 14, now I´m 27.
I will continue

Re: At the age of 16 i start car modeling waht about you?

Started around 6, it was some sort of Dodge Viper. Can't remember now. Got bored of it and started again when i was 10. It was another car but i can't remember what it was. I broke the body piece and so i threw it away. When i was around 14 i started on a Subaru WRX but i screwed up the paint job so i gave up. And I've just started again and i'm currently 17 and i have actually finished a model!

Re: At the age of 16 i start car modeling waht about you?

Started aroud 5/6 YO with a sirkosky copper: I built it with my brother (1 year less than me) in a couple hours . Now I'm 38 and I learn some serious lessons: avoid to leave open a microsol near a new decal sheet anf few other amenities

I'm old enough to be everyone's bloody grandfather!!
I'm 43 and started modelling 2 years ago.
So far I've managed to complete 4 models, amputate 2 fingers and more or less circumcise the remaining 8.
Useful lessons learned to date: CA glue stops bleeding very quickly.

Re: At the age of 16 i start car modeling waht about you?

I started at about the age of 9. Built mostly planes, but switched to cars after a few years until "the big sleep" .
I've been out of modelling for about 12-14 years (can't remember exactly) and only in the second half of last year I've picked it up again.

Been accumulating lots of kits in the meantime, so I had to start building again .

During my second tour of duty I've started 3 kits (Jaguar MkII Saloon (Tamiya), Opel Cliff Calibra DTM (Tamiya) and Ferrari F430 (Fujimi - with CM PE set)), but finished none.
But will soon (hopefully).
