95 windstar air springs

Hello all. I am having problems with the air susp. system in my 95 winny.
It keeps getting low to the ground when driving and the compresor won`t
turn on most of the time. Is there a way to replace this without braking the bank. I would prefer to change it with a regular spring system.
Thank you very much .

if it is eventually kicking in, you might look at replacing/cleaning the height sensor on the rear suspension. It is located on the midline of the rear "axle" and is easy to R&R. Might get your system working normally as is. As the compressor get its signal to run from this sensor, it might be your problem. I have not priced one.

Good luck
