Question How do I make my car look ok (97)

I own 97 Toyota Corolla CE and it is not very nice looking. I am also having problems with fuel consumption and acceleration.

Looks: It ugly, it has some drivers side passenger damage from a SUV driver and the paint is uneven. It just not nice. Otherwise its the traditional look. I want it to look nice but how? What can I do? I am a muscle car type of girl. Somehow I wound up with this, (I was thinking fuel economy).

Drive:
The engine...I take pretty decent care of my car, problem is something is wrong. The acceleration is, to be nice, crap. It seems like it takes forever. Am I asking too much from a 4cyl.? It just seems to suck down alot of gas as well. I have used injector cleaner but it doesnt seem to have made a difference.

Help

Exterior- paint job and body work

Interior- clean, mats, seat covers

performance-
How many miles to the gallon are you getting? Is your car's transmission a manual or an automatic? When was your last tune-up? Is the tire pressure correct? Fuel mixture? Air cleaner? What do your spark plugs look like?

Is your "Check Engine" light lit? If so, get the codes (Autozone).
