Tamiya Murcielago Color

Hi, I want to build the Lambo Murcielago from Fujimi, it should be metallic green. Which color should I use for it? I could have someone mix it for me but that will cost as much as the kit itself
I prefer Tamiya spray cans but I can't find any suitable color. Is TS-22 OK?
I saw one building a green murcielago here, looked stunning, just can't find the thread anymore
Perhaps he can point me to the right color

Hi, the link is www.modelcolourworx.co.uk the colour part of the word is spelt the English way as it is in UK. You could also try www.hiroboy.com/catalog/ as Steve also sells model colour worx paint.

That are great links, thanks! And, by the way: after modelworx there comes co.uk and not, as in the first post, .com
But anyway: nice links, thanks, and I can pay by paypal, since I have no credit card that is really great

Re: Tamiya Murcielago Color

Alternately, head down to you local automotive paint supplier and ask them to mix you a small quantity of Verde Ithaca Mica, PPG colour code *0077. That's what I used on my Green Lamborghini.

YES
That IS the lambo I thought about!
Unfortunately I did exactly what you told me and as I said in my first post the cost would be as much as for the kit itself.. no options for that
I now wrote an email to modelcolourworx and already got a reply, much cheaper this one
Thanks a lot for you help guys

Re: Tamiya Murcielago Color

Hi
I am interested in trying this paint, but can someone tell me how to get the color name from a car? Is there some website where I can get this? If I want the Yellow color from a Mazda Rx8 for exemple.
Thanks

Thanks
The RX8 solid yellow is called "lightning Yellow" and the OEM paint code is A4J.

Let me know if you want any.

Cheers,

Paul.

In that case you must have either very cheap kits or very expensive paint merchants! Glad you found a solution with Modelcolourworx.

Kit is Fujimi kit (about 35€ incl. shipping)
Colour just comes in half-litre bottles and I have to buy clear, too, so I will pay about 30-40€
