if its kinda like my 94 then you just remove the dash trim by removing the screws then i had to kinda "wiggle" it out a bit lol. maybe it was a harder than a wiggle but o well.... when you get it off you can just pull of the headlight switch (it snaps into place) then put it off to the side... then you just remove the to radio screws and pull it out.... unplug the wiring in the back and remove the radio from the car.... hope this helps

Would it be the same procedure for an '89 Olds 98? We want to put the radio in an '88 Buick Park Avenue (coporate twins/same radio).
Thanks,

Re: !!!!!Radio Removal!!!!!!

Okay guys you'll need a harness for your hookups. They cost roughly $5-$10 and there specific to the make of your vehicle. You plug the wireplugs that went into your stereo into the harness and on the other side of the harness are colour coated wires with the diagram. Just connect these to the cd deck (eg. power antenna->power antenna,Groud->Ground,Duh!!) and your good to go. Oh and i forgot you will probably need a mounting bracket to fit the cd player snugly in place. You can get these at any parts store.
Hope it helps.
