This topic made me think. It sucks that the U.S. singed on to the nuclear test ban. I saw a show on PBS about Los Vegas and in part of they talked about how back in the 50’s and 60’s the military would setup viewing areas at minimum safe distance for people that wanted to see the nukes go-off. Now that’s what I call a family vacation.

But now because of the ban on nuclear testing fathers all across American will never see glimmer in there son’s eyes that can only come form seeing a 25KT nuclear war head lighting up the Nevada night sky. Bring back nuclear testing, do it for……..”the children.”

If we did, then the US becomes the very same entity that it has been fighting against for 200 years.

While its true that N.Korea is a problem waiting to happen espectially with that leader of theirs, but who are we to tell anyone what they can and cannot have especially considering that we are the worlds biggest holder of weapons of mass destruction. We have enough chemical , biological, nucleur weapons to give each country in the world at least 5. When countries that do not have, feel the need to have, then they will do whatever it takes to do so. And those that do have, will do whatever it takes to stop them from having them.

C'MON.... If someone mouths off and truly embaresses you in public do you just sit there and smile? If you get clocked in a bar do you say "thank you" and buy the guy a beer? If you come home and someone is porking YOUR wife in YOUR bed do you go grab him an ice cold glass of water and tell him to take another crack at it? If you get mugged on the street do you say "wait a minute... I'll write you a check for the rest of my life's savings"...? You get my point.

There's a point at which someone (these pricks in the countries who hate us for no REAL reason) has to be held responsible for their actions. I was exaggerating when I said to nuke them, but if they hate us, the should at least have a reason... and I would start by cutting their funding off, and then finish by killing them. And don't tell me *girly voice* "oh... that's not the right thing to do"... If that was YOUR kid being beheaded in Iraq, YOUR daughter being sold into sexual/servitudinal slavery in Egypt, Turkey (or whereever), YOUR kid / spouse that got kidnapped and abused / murdered (OR WHATEVER the scenario) just because you're an American and the United States is evil...

Let's be realistic, it would be nice if everyone got along, but they don't. Some people listen to logic some don't, some people are a threat to society and some aren't. Those that ARE a threat and don't listen to logic need to be dealt with in a manner that will ensure that our citizens are safe. Maybe that means tourism to those countries is forbidden by the US and the Gov't won't help you if you go there and get in trouble, maybe that mean we cut off funding to those countries (or increase funding if those countries want to help but can't), and maybe... you take care of the problem in a manner where it no longer exists.

My OPINION.

And by the way TS, I agree with you that they will do whatever it takes to get what the feel they need, but the problem is the "little man's complex." We have an army... and it just escalates from there.


AND for the record... If I came home and someone was porking my wife in my bed... I'd put a very large hole through both of them.
