Nate is ready to retire and by retire he means die. He can not kill himself so Jack is going to kill him with a sword. Jack takes Nate's son around the world to show him the sites, because Nate never got too. Jack is driving his SUV back toward the lever to kill nate when he loses control and he is heading right toward the lever. at the last second he jerks the wheel towards Nate instead and says "Better Nate than Lever." LOL!!! BTW- I don't see why you are complaining it wasn't as long as war and peace, and its a lot more engaging, plus it has a funnier ending.
