Cap over DRL bulb.
Fixed my original problem.
Now I wanted to know what's the purpose of the cap that is over the DRL lights. I have a 98 Malibu and wanted to know if it's alright to take it off. I want the DRL to be a bit brighter than they are right now and I figure taking that cap off would make them so. Last edited by D3rk0; 07-05-2006 at 07:27 PM. |

Re: Headlights: one brighter than other.
I guess all it really was the misalignment between them. One was pointing the beam up, while the other was pointing directly at the floor. I guess I pretty muched fixed it.
I was wondering if it's safe to take off the little cap that covers the DRLs? Is there a specific purpose for it? I think that the lights would be quite a bit brighter without it. |
