Re: wheel bearing

All of the wheel bearings on your car are "pressed" in. So regardless of any labour you can do yourself you'll still need to take the hub and spindle to a machine shop, or any place that can press out the old bearing and press the new one back in. To save some money if your mechanically inclined you can remove the hub and spindle yourself and take it to the shop to put the new bearing in. taking the spindle out is just a matter of disconnecting the lower balljoint, the tie rod end, and cv joint from the hub....then sliding the spindle of the strut....if you've never done it before though, you might be best letting a shop do it...you need a 30 or 32mm socket for the cv joint nut, and some of the bolts on the other parts of the suspension can be a bitch to crack if they haven't come off in awhile...but if your willing its not too complicated..I could do that job at home in 2 hours...

Re: wheel bearing

The rear you can do by yourself without a press though.

I personlly have a shop press so I did my fronts myself not too long ago.

Re: wheel bearing

As viper mentioned it is not complicated at all. best to take knuckle/hub assembly off car and into to shop to have them press out old one and in with new. save you lotta money. and remove axle nut while car still on ground b4 anything . Size 32mm with a breaker bar should do it.as for ball joints/tie rod end use a pickle fork. most likely gonna rip boot though
