KA question
hey,
will a s14 ka24de fit into an s13 with out mods? and will an altima ka24de fit into a s13 without any mods also? any info would help thanks

s14 will fit they are the same engine i think the diff is that one is a obd I and the other is obd II. some one correxct me on that part. the altima ka24de will not fit cuz its fwd.

THe power steering, ac lines, etc are different on the SOHC and DOHC. The wiring harness is also different. Its not a difficult swap though.

96-98 is obd2. 95 is obd1

to do the s14 to s13 swap as easy as possible, but a s13 dohc harness (91-94) the swap out the distrubtor from the s14 to an s13 exteral coil setup...there is a possiblity you will also have to swap out the intake manifold due to some emissions stuff added to the 96+ models.
other than that, its pretty much plug and play

also, on the Altima KA, you will need to change out the head.
